EDUCATION
Studied Painting at the National Art School

Mason Vanderveer is an emerging, contemporary artist who is based in Sydney and lives on the Central Coast of NSW. Recently graduating from the National Art School in 2019, he is exploring various techniques within the Printmaking medium. Making use of traditional Relief Printing styles, as well as utilising Screen-printing, Cyanotype Development and of course, his Drawing practice.
Combining all of these to create a fresh, energetic perspective.
His Recent work includes 2 notable series, completed whilst at NAS studying his BFA. The Series ‘The Streets are Eets’ consisted of 15 Lino Relief prints, all exploring scenes from around Inner-City Sydney, including suburbs such as Surry Hills and Darlinghurst. His other recent series ‘City Collage’, was a project build around the process of Cyanotype development. Exploring the vibrant energy that Sydney encapsulates, and creating these photographic exposures in a Collage-type fashion. Giving the work liveliness, a true reflection of the hustle & bustle of Sydney.
