Andrew Baines and Janine Daddo 2006

Send to friend

No artist since Rene Magritte has captured the quasi-surrealist world quite like highly prominent Adelaide artist, Andrew Baines. He adds a Salvador Dali-esque sophistication and a Jeffrey Smart edge to express something that is very Baines and undoubtedly eye-popping. Janine Daddo’s natural exuberance for life allows her to gain great joy from the everyday moments that most of us take for granted. Her observations of these moments are what inspire her paintings and her desire to share the simple magic that is all around us. Exhibition opens 9th of September to the 24th of September.
