“This most recent body of work embraces the artist’s love of his home studio at Sydney’s Chinamans Beach, his immediate surroundings and his frequently painted reef and underwater world. For many years these have been favourite subjects for Ken. Of special note are three beach paintings that focus on the study of the landscape. These paintings are comprised of detailed figures representing the patterning and playfulness of a day at the beach.”

Harvey Galleries acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands upon which our galleries stand. The Guringai people (Seaforth), the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation (Sydney), and the Bunurong Boon Wurrung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples of the Eastern Kulin Nation (Melbourne).
